Women and Sports

I'm at Kohl's yesterday and I happen to pass by the men's area, where they have collegiate apparel displayed. One of my favorite things about Fall/Winter is comfy warm sweatshirts, and my UNLV sweatshirt has a stain on it, so I picked up a new one. I noted that they never have this merchandise in the women's section and counted myself lucky to have taken the long way around the store. Then I remembered back to my Dallas Cowboys apparel catalog and how small the women's section was, and how many of the items for sale came in... gasp... pink and white. Pink and white??? Last I checked there isn't a single NFL team whose colors are freakin' pink and white. Is anyone really buying this stuff? There's no way in hell you'd catch me in a pink and white Cowboys shirt.

Seriously, ladies, am I by myself here? Are there that few women who actually love sports?

Speaking of being a sports fan, I'll tell you what my tattoo is. It's a beautiful blue and white Dallas Cowboy star. :)

It's Friday night, and you know what that means...

Before I list the videos, I wanted to share something I did this week! I got another tattoo. It only took me about 13 years since the first, but I finally got the guts to do it. It's on my left shoulder... perhaps I'll post a picture once it heals (and stops itching like crazy!). It hurt - but I had good company, thus distraction from all that stabbing with a needle going on, which helped a lot!! Anyone wanna take a guess at what it is? Don't worry, I'm fairly certain this is my last one. :)

My Tattoo

Barbara and Nik asked about my tattoo after I posted the picture of my new sandals... so I thought I'd post a picture of it. I thought I had before but realized I hadn't!

I got this unicorn tattoo in 1994, it was not a pleasant experience since it's on my ankle! I nearly passed out... but interestly enough, I'm considering another. Only considering at this point, as I can't decide where I'd put it. This tattoo has seen a lot of years, tanning (sun exposure is rough on tattoos), and skin stretching (man my ankles were swollen during pregnancy). It's faded quite a bit and could really use some touch-up, although I am not sure I'll ever do it.
