I'm so excited, I finally went out and bought that bicycle I've been wanting for months. I've not been on a bike since ohhhhhh... like 1992, so it will be an interesting change from the walking and hiking I do. So let's just get this part out of the way:
This, my friends, is the EXACT bicycle I purchased today. Yes, it's PINK. Yup, girlie even. So let's have it, let the mockery start. I know, it's pretty strange that I bought this. But look at it. I went into Target 3 times looking at bikes, and kept coming back to this one because of the retro look. The whitewall tires, the frame, the fenders...I fell in love with it. I kept resisting the urge for PINK, and even went in there today to purchase a BLUE bicycle. But decided to just run with it, cause this is what I really wanted. There are only a few things girlie about me, and I guess this shows it. :)

wanna trade? Mine is blue!
I love that bike! I want one!!
I love it!
Brent is the reason I finally got a bike two years ago. I hadn't ridden a bike since I got my driver's license, LOL, so it was a little weird at first. And every time I went around a corner, I thought for sure I was gonna fall :-) But the jitters disappear quickly and it'll be fun to go on bike rides with Madison!
That's a great bike!
I've been contemplating getting a bike, I could totally ride to a few places near my house on a regular basis and eliminate the car some. But I don't know if I want to buy a bike like the one you got or a serious road bike to force myself into training for a road race.
I don't buy a lot of pink stuff, but for some reason I always grab pink running gear. I guess I like being girly at some times too!
You need the streamers for the handgrips, the ones with sparkles.
:::shakes head:::
Pee Wee would be proud! I like that style of your bike. I remember how cool I thought my 10 speed was...
Don't forget to put a plastic basket in the front! Do your neighbors give you weird looks when you're out sportin this thing?
