What's On My iPod

I'm in a bit of an 80's mood...

The Cure - "Close to Me"

New Order - "Perfect Kiss" - My personal favorite from New Order.

The Church - "Under the Milky Way" - I remember this song from the "Valley Girl" soundtrack.

Art of Noise - "Close to the Edit"

Quad City DJ's - "C'mon 'N Ride It (The Train)" - Of course I had to throw in something to see if you're still paying attention. :)

Ha Ha Ha... I LOVED that song. Swear to God, I even bought the CD single of it soooooo long ago. You are, no doubt, not surprised. Have a great day!

Angi - I would send it to you, but I purchased it on iTunes, so it has that nasty DRM technology attached (meaning it won't play for you).

Amy - No, LOL, not surprised. I still love this song!

I broke down and bought a BUNCH of tunes, it's just everytime I would go to buy them I forget about this song.
I miss the days of free music! I hate spending $20+ bucks a pop on singles on iTunes!!!!!
But such is life, and now since I eaither walk on the treadmill with mine or leave it in the car all the time, I am finally wanting to play more with playlist, and fixing the tags - but I hate this mundane crap!
I hate to ask how many songs you have in yours, as I just finally reached maybe 500, as I delelted a bunch of songs from the albums of one hit wonders! LOL!

Angi, LOL - I spend a lot of $$ on iTunes, I do like the idea of buying just that one song I really love vs. the whole CD. I try to find more of the DRM free music offered on iTunes, and I understand Amazon.com is selling music DRM FREE. I haven't browsed them yet, but I will be!

4 of my favorite songs there. I'm sure you can guess which ones. "Under The Milky Way" is always haunting. I actually do the song well at karaoke... it's one of those low brooding songs. "Perfect Kiss" has that nice little twist to it as well as excellent keyboard. "Close To Me" wasn't really a favorite of mine until they remixed it and I couldn't get it out of my head. "Close To The Edit" is one of those experimental favorites of mine as they are extremely talented but went more ambient in later releases. Ok, "C'mon 'N Ride It (The Train)" is one of those that I lump in with "Tootsie Roll"... I wouldn't turn the channel if it was on.
