A Picture, A Tattoo and a Marathon Over

Madison's classroom is asking for recent family photos. They want them like, yesterday... I don't keep actual photos laying around, it's all digital. Believe it or not, I don't have one of those handy-dandy photo printers, either. The more photos I have, the more I have to organize! So in a few minutes I'll be visiting Flickr and trying to get photos mailed to me, yesterday. :P Do you develop film still? Do you order prints or print your digital photos yourself?

I have something that's actually making the healing of this tattoo a little easier. It's called Doctor Burt's Res-Q Ointment, made by Burt's Bees. It has olive oil in it so I'm smelling a little like a salad right now, but it feels good. I'm very conscious of any body/beauty products that test on animals and I'm moving toward environmentally friendly, more natural products. If you've never used any of their products, check them out sometime. I know a lot of local drug stores carry some of it, but the website (link above) has more to offer.

My marathon running has come to a screeching halt. My body is just saying NO! to the running part - my shins are feeling like someone slashed my muscles. So I'm still walking but the jogging will cease, for now anyway - I have some other options and will be finding other ways to change up the workout.

Okay, off to sift through and order photos!

You can get a fairly good inkjet full page printer for around $60 at the office supply places. Photos come out reasonable, and if you buy the fancy paper you can make them big.
No more film, just a million shots a day digital.

I used film on my second trip to India, but have yet to get it developed. Digital is so much easier.

I used to get shin splints when I ran either on the ground or on a treadmill. I got orthotics for my shoes and they went away.

Hey, I got all excited thinking that you were going to post a pic of the tat. I always put Neosporin on mine, I wonder if its kind of the same. I love Burt's Bee's lip balm!!

Good luck finding pics :)

Joe: Yeah, I know. But the ink is way more expensive than the whole printer.

Ken: Shin splints HURT! Just accepting I'm not a runner.

Barbara: I promise, as soon as it heals. It's pretty scary looking right now, with the scabbing.

Amy: It so rocks! I just recently discovered the website ordering, lurrrrve it!
