Another Journey in Pictures...Kinda

I'm going to take you on another pictoral journey... starting with a little of my evening and then a little of my nightly walk. The pictures on my walk didn't turn out nearly as good as I'd liked, I've probably got some low batteries in the camera, affecting the flash. Someone recently told me I shouldn't leave my camera in the car... that was probably good advice. :)

As usual, there are more pictures for your viewing enjoyment over at Flickr, as well!

Anyway - after dinner Madison and I had tea:

I don't know what was in that tea, cause we got a little loopy:

But soon enough my buzz was gone and it was time for my walk:

Here's one of my regular 8-legged friends, she's a real beauty, eh?

Can you guess what the picture below is? It's a horse trail. We actually have horse trails all over the neighborhood, because this area was zoned as ranch land for many years and there are several ranches out here. I used to see a lot more horses than I have in the last 2-3 years, now that traffic can be pretty heavy.
At this point I'm not even halfway through the walk - but since the pictures didn't turn out, you'll just have to use your imagination for the rest!

I think I would be carrying a can of bug killer with me and spraying those little 8 legged SOB's. I hate spiders with a passion - and our moving hasn't improved the situation any. We went from black widows to wolf and recluse spiders. I killed some huge spider in the backyard awhile back. They just make my skin crawl thinking about it. Luckily it was outside, and as long as they are out and not in, I can deal with it. I have to post you this picture of a little critter Ruben found cutting the grass. You'll love it! Hahaha - not!

You are supposed to put your foot next to the spider so we can have something to judge its size by. B)

I think the silly pic of you and your daughter cancel out the nasty spider pic.

When we first moved out to this area, we saw a lot of people riding horses, but now that it is more developed, we rarely see them. With all the horses, it made this area of town not feel like living in Vegas, which was nice.

Now I am intrigued where your neighborhood is because I can not think of any where in Vegas that has horse rails.
