I'm Baaaaack!

I'm back home safely from MN... it was a gorgeous 82 degrees when I stepped into the parking garage at McCarran airport. Ahhhh, it's good to be home. :)

I picked up Madison early and we spent some time together this afternoon. There's no better feeling than to have your kid jump in your arms, give you the biggest hug and say "I missed you sooooo much!"
I'm posting a couple of pictures from the trip:

This was taken just after I arrived, it's my Dad and I in front of one of my aunt and uncle's home. This is a scenic picture in front of their house... I am so thankful I got to witness Fall, since we really don't see it here in Vegas!

You can get a better view of these and a few more pictures at Flickr, you'll notice the link to my page on the right... I didn't get as many as I'd like, but my Dad's wife got plenty and I'm sure I'll get copies to add. You can find the Minnesota photos in the "Minnesota 10-07" set.

Another Journey in Pictures...Kinda

I'm going to take you on another pictoral journey... starting with a little of my evening and then a little of my nightly walk. The pictures on my walk didn't turn out nearly as good as I'd liked, I've probably got some low batteries in the camera, affecting the flash. Someone recently told me I shouldn't leave my camera in the car... that was probably good advice. :)

As usual, there are more pictures for your viewing enjoyment over at Flickr, as well!

Anyway - after dinner Madison and I had tea:

I don't know what was in that tea, cause we got a little loopy:

But soon enough my buzz was gone and it was time for my walk:

Here's one of my regular 8-legged friends, she's a real beauty, eh?

Can you guess what the picture below is? It's a horse trail. We actually have horse trails all over the neighborhood, because this area was zoned as ranch land for many years and there are several ranches out here. I used to see a lot more horses than I have in the last 2-3 years, now that traffic can be pretty heavy.
At this point I'm not even halfway through the walk - but since the pictures didn't turn out, you'll just have to use your imagination for the rest!
