Favorite Toys

I have two toys I'm really enjoying right now:This is the iPod shuffle I purchased yesterday. You know I have a love affair with my iPod, but it's so... brick-like. I was struggling with the weight of it and I was always having problems finding the perfect case suitable for all the accessories I use with the iPod. This little 1GB shuffle is so perfect for working out - it's virtually weightless and I am able to fit about 200 songs (although if you bring down the bit rate of your music, you should be able to fit close to 240, so Apple says). It's incredibly easy to use with iTunes and of course it's my favorite color. :) I have no idea why it took me so long to buy this?

What you see above is a Nokia 770 tablet. This is what I spoke of before - the new toy that uses the Linux operating system. I'm fascinated and frustrated by this toy, as it has so many uses but I know so little about Linux that I have to learn something completely out of my comfort zone. This, my friends, is a good thing. With some assistance I've gotten started on the learning process... but there is so much to learn and so little time. So whenever I can I take a little while to check it out. Just personalizing it is such a completely different beast than Windows.

Hope this week has been good to you... tomorrow is Friday!!

Very pretty toys. Thought about getting a small iPod to tote around with me with maybe one song each from my favorite acts. Linux is pretty interesting and at some point I would like to mess with it. I was thinking of putting it on an old desktop but being portable like that... gives me more time to play.

Oooh I like the shuffle-that blue is pretty cool looking.

I'm in no way a techie, so I have no clue what your second toy is or does. But I'm glad you like it though. Good luck with it.

Hope you and the family have a great weekend.
