So Much TV, So Little Time

Okay, most the new TV premiers are over, and I'm already addicted to too much. My DVR has been working overtime, we spent a lot of time over the weekend catching up.

Here's a list of my favorite shows this season (in no particular order):

1. Medium
2. Cold Case
3. Numbers
4. CSI (Las Vegas version only)
5. Ghost Whisperer
6. My Name is Earl
7. Las Vegas
8. Criminal Minds
9. Reunion

For the most part, it appears I'm into death, ghosts and cop shows. :) Anyone else have any favorites this season?

For the new shows, so far I am enjoying Kitchen Confidential, Bones, and (guilty pleasure)Supernatural. I need to see tonights episode of Earl before I add it to my list of weekly tapings.

There are just too many shows on Tuesdays at 9 that I want to see.

Lily: Bones... I did want to check that one out. Supernatural, I've not heard of. I'm not sure I can keep up with any more!

Fred: YES! How could I forget that??!!

I usually only watch about 2-3 shows, but my list seems to be growing lately as well. CSI (vegas only as well), numbers, house and I just added Ghost whisperer and criminal minds to this years line up. Seems I have the same ghost cop thing going as well.

Supernatural is on Tuesdays at 9 on the WB, and replayed late Sunday afternoon. It kinda has an X-Files vibe but minus the conspiracy theories.

I'm definitely an Earl fan. Have all the Bones episodes on Tivo but haven't watched them yet. Threshold was interesting and will have to see if it gets better. I need a second Tivo.

Earl has my attention for now, kind of like Out of Practice, am mildly addicted to those damned housewives on Wisteria Lane and rarely laugh as hard as when I am watching Weeds. But my all-time-hands-down-no questions-asked fave this season is Nip/Tuck. I would give up just about anything for that!

Sheena: I never started with Nip/Tuck, but I hear it is really good. Glad you liked 'Earl', that show is hilarious!

Teri: Great minds think alike. :) I cried watching the premier of Ghost Whisperer.

Lily: I'm going to have to DVR that and check it out.

Jas: I don't think I'll get the same effect if I start watching Lost in the 2nd season. I felt that way about '24' too.

Martin: Military and aliens do nothing for me, so I didn't even consider Threshold. That's why I never watched X-Files, although I did like the movie.

Amy: Sometimes when flipping channels I catch the divas on Wisteria lane. Funny, but too "Knots Landing" for me. Every time I see a Nip/Tuck commercial I think of you.

TiVo is cool...I really am beginning to wonder what I would do without it.

In terms of this season, though, I still find Arrested Development to be hilarious, I'll admit it - I'm into Desparate Housewives - I love CSI, both Las Vegas and Miami and how could I forget the West Wing.

Haven't really found any new shows to get into, but I've got a backlog of things on TiVo that I haven't had a chance to watch yet, though...

Ken: Arrested Development is great! For some reason I never catch it, but Jason Bateman just kills me. Portia DeRossi is great too, it's a nice change from her role on Ally McBeal (a show I sorely miss).

What did you think of last night's episode of CSI? It disturbed me and I didn't finish watching it. Warrick got married...ruined the show for me, he was mine!

Well Woman: What about that particular episode bothered you? The ending left me a little cold, but I think other episodes have bothered me more.
