Halloween... Back in the Day

This is a picture of me taken on Halloween 1975, when I was four (the same age Madison is now)! I remembered this picture when Vegas Princess had guessed I might be Jeannie from the old TV show I Dream of Jeannie this year. My Mom made this costume herself, and the coolest part I remember is my headdress - she took a butter dish and decorated it with sequins and such, as well as the veil around my face, as you see above - she was always pretty clever and imaginative when making my costumes or my clothes. I don't remember a whole lot about that night other than her trying to stuff all my hair through a hole in the top of that hat, all that hair you see a hint of there was really mine! We lived in Hawaii back then, so you can imagine how warm a night Halloween was there, as opposed to so many other places in the U.S.

So... Internet... I challenge you to post an old Halloween picture of yourself. It doesn't have to be from childhood, maybe your favorite costume was from your teens, mid-30's... whenever!

I'm going to be Alice in Wonderland for Halloween. I have the whole costume ready, I just need to figure out the hair thing. I have too much hair to stuff under a blonde wig, so I'm going to just do the black headband in my own hair, but I've got to work on the style. She has that whole poofy thing going on in the front I'd like to recreate if I can. Problem is, I have really really straight, flat hair, and it's a good thing I'm not a hairdresser, cause I'm not all that creative in the hairdo department.

I have gotten some of the best costume ideas from you considering your guesses. When I'm whining about what to be next year I'll have to remember to come back here to look! So I'll narrow it down more:

I do believe Barbara came up with this idea a couple of weeks ago when I mentioned my Halloween costume... so I'm going to run with it. Let's play Guess Lora's Halloween Costume. There's no "reward" but if ya wanna play, please feel free to throw your guess out there, I think this could be amusing. I'll post a new hint every other day or so until someone guesses it.
