What's On My iPod

John Waite - "If Anybody Had a Heart" - Seems John Waite had a few of his songs end up on soundtracks in the 80's - this one's from About Last Night... (which starred Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, and Jim Belushi). I watched it again recently - love the 80's romantic comedies. :)

Matchbox Twenty - "Girl Like That" - This is my favorite song from their debut album Yourself or Someone Like You (which is still their best stuff, IMO).

Aerosmith - "Crazy" - Remember when Alicia Silverstone was this young? Doesn't it seem like forever ago? Yeah, cause it was. LOL Love this video!

Tool - "Stinkfist" - Ok, so I'm not a big fan of Tool, this guy's voice just doesn't do it for me in general, but this song, this song is goooooood. Well, except the title. heh

Yaz - "Situation" - This is one of those songs back in the 80's and early 90's that you'd easily hear in any dance club. Miss that! Now that I'm in my late 30's, I've resorted to chair dancing to it. LOL Love Alison Moyet's voice!

Hey, stumbled on your blog from Pop Eye's and couldn't help but note your love of both John Waite and Yaz. You should check out "In Dreams," Waite's contribution to the True Romance soundtrack. And I was always super-fond of "Midnight" off that Yaz album, but the whole dang thing rawks. Well, in a super-syntho kind of way.
