Madison and I took my in-laws to Lake Mead this morning for a hike. We headed over to the Historical Railroad Trailhead, and had a four mile hike, which Madison actually finished - without really whining about being tired until the last half mile or so, LOL. The weather was beautiful, and the scenery was perfect! This trail was really easy, and bikes as well as dogs are allowed... I really want to take the new bike back out there, it would be a cake little nature ride. There are plenty of pictures over at the Flickr page, but I'll leave you with a couple.

I've actually hiked that trail. It's awesome. But it was several years ago. Glad to see it's still there!

I have wanted to do that trail. Maybe now I will check it out since you said it is so cool. :)
I have never really been to Lake mead.. not for recreational stuff.. just driving past I guess. Sounds like a bit of fun though, I will have to check it out!
