Addiction by Twilight

Edward Cullen (Twilight)Image via Wikipedia

I have been totally and utterly sucked in by the force known as Twilight. I don't even know how it happened, really... Oh, I know - I have all of these girlfriends who have read it and have all gone mad about Edward Cullen. :P So I'm in Barnes and Noble to purchase a gift, and I see it. A full table of the paperback edition, and it's on sale. What can it hurt? I'll probably start it and never really get into it, so I'll put it down and just never pick it back up, much like the half dozen other novels I've purchased in the last two years.

But ohhhhhhh no.... I start reading, and I manage to get in 20-30 pages per day. Within four days I'm up to 50-70 pages per day. I think I'll have it finished by Tuesday. I just have to know what.happens.next!

I knew it!! See, you must always listen to us! :)

Just wait to you get to the end. You'll be out buying the other three books before you have fully processed the last page.

Yay!!! I *LOVE* Twilight!! And yes, Edward Cullen. There just aren't WORDS for him. I'm excited to hear how you like the rest of them. I thought the first and fourth were the best. And are you in love with Edward yet? ;-)

Randy, it's okay for girls to be chick-ish once in a while!

VP: I'm furrowing and laughing at the same time - I didn't want to get sucked in, but I'm really enjoying this first book. I can imagine you'll be hearing from me, LOL.

Randy: ::AHEM:: I DO have boobs, afterall. LOL

Renee: Um, yeah... Edward Cullen is pretty damn amazing. Thank you for havin' my back, too. I am sure I'll blog about this series more!

I read all 4 books within 2 weeks. Every girl dreams of an Edward - and by that I don't mean a vampire, but a man hopelessly in love with her.

the movie isn't AS good as the books, it is a lil cheesy - but bottom line it's the underlying story.

Yeah, I don't get all the hype about this. Never even heard of the books til the movie came out.

Angi - Yeah, we all dream about that guy who doesn't exist, LOL! I am kinda excited to see the movie, I'll admit it. I have heard others say the book is better as well.

Nik: Yeah, I knew you'd be my one girlfriend who has no interest in this series whatsoever. I don't blame you one bit! I've been taken hostage, dammit!

Read the whole series. Loved it. Yeah I admit it. I also read her other book, the Host. I was pleasantly surprised as its a great story also. Definitely worth reading.

I felt exactly the same way! I just finished it this weekend and can't wait to go and definitely BUY the movie...because it would be worth buying I'm sure since I liked the book so much!

Twilight SUCKED!! I regrettably watched that movie...that's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. There was NOTHING good about that movie, it was AWFUL! Had he eaten the chick, then it could have been semi-ok! A vampire love story...are you KIDDING me?!?!

LMAO Randy. The movie was good ONLY if you've read the book before watching it, IMO. Books are ALWAYS better than the movie version, plus the movie should have been like 4 hours long to really be great. It's quite a bit different than the book, but I think if you love the book, you should see the movie!
