Let It Snow

Here's what's happening at my house today!

How do you like this giant front yard? LMAO

It's been snowing a long time, and it is just starting to stick around 11:00 a.m.

I know some of you who live in areas that actually get a lot of snow (Randy or Nik) are laughing at this, cause I know this is pretty balmy compared to where you are. But this is going to have Vegas in a tailspin (literally) today!

We are surrounded by mountains here, and I live not so far from one of the ranges... I can't even see a single mountain on the horizon. I can't wait until the next clear and sunny morning, because they are truly so beautiful covered in snow.

It's still snowing and should be throughout the day, so when I get my ass off the couch periodically I'll take more pictures. Hope you're all having a warm Monday!

Are you off the couch yet?

Time to move to Florida. Houses are real cheap now.

We did not get any in our neck of the woods but my in-laws had to periodically go outside and shake off their young palm trees so the palms did not break under the weight of the snow. :)

LOL...this is so cute. Over the last 3 days, I've accumulated over 3 feet of snow in my yard.

I remember the last time I was in Vegas and played in the snow..1975...HUGE snow storm...look it up!

You poor thing! I mean, we're supposed to get lott of cold, ugly snow here, so it's usually not a big deal. Unless you're like me and you despise it. Hope the weather gets better for you.

strange weather, eh? first it snowed in southern louisiana, then snow in southern nevada?
they blame everything on global warming these days, yet I don't see how this quite fits that theory. in any case I don't want it here, yet I don't like how it got all muggy and warm either. can't there just be a happy medium?
