It's now late Sunday night and I am still digesting that fabulous meal. One wonderful thing about today - it's the first day I've felt healthy in a week. That cold seriously kicked my ass!! So, the Christmas celebration was just in time - I'm back on the treadmill tomorrow (the first time in a week, my body is seriously pissed). I get to work off that cornbread stuffing I ate!
I'm kind of dreading work tomorrow - I'm still playing a lot of catch-up from being out a lot over the last two weeks with Madison and I sick - so I'm going to be buried during a week that would normally be chillaxed. I haven't figured out how to make work just disappear, but when I do, I'll let you know.
As usual, there's more pictures at Flickr.
How was your weekend, Internet?

I'm glad you and your family had a great day. May you get many more in the near future.
I'll be watching the mail for my gifts...
I'm sorry but I will never understand the need to fry a turkey. To me, not something that should be fried. Not to mention the frying contraption is highly dangerous. It is funny though that the guys couldn't get it cooked correctly. :)
Sounds like a great time and a lot of fun (despite the inedible bird)
The correct way is for the three observers to each have a long neck in their hand. If that part of the ritual wasn't observed then of course it wouldn't work.
That and thawing the turkey first. I'm surprised it didn't explode, there are lots of warnings about not using frozen birds.
Your stepsis will be in my prayers, hope her surgery goes well. Glad y'all had fun and that the turkey didn't blow up on ya. Damn, that coulda been brutal.
Glad it was a good time and that you're feeling better! Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!!!!!
And, try the turkey again, not frozen of course :) I swear it will be the juiciest and tastiest turkey you've ever had!
Best wishes for your stepsister's surgery!
I hope the surgery goes well... but other than that... who is that exquisit child? That cannot be my favorite Baby Burrito! She is too grown up! So beautioful!
