Movie Review

Forgetting Sarah MarshallImage via Wikipedia

Forgetting Sarah Marshall was pretty good, as far as romantic comedies go... Jason Segel (I spelled his name wrong yesterday, sorry Jason) actually wrote this script, so I have to give him props for that. I've come to enjoy him a lot as an actor because of his role as Marshall Eriksen on How I Met Your Mother. He's awesome on that show! I like that he's branching out and seeing success in other places too.

Ok, now that I've given Jason some props - this movie was good, but not fantastic. I really liked the storyline, and the onscreen chemistry between he and Mila Kunis was nice to watch. You really feel for his character, Peter, but about halfway through I was tired of his wallowing. There were some really funny parts but a few fell flat. Of course the nude scene, gotta mention the nude scene. It was not bad, heh. But what a sad moment, I mean he's there naked and she's dumping him! Oh and her new boyfriend, that British comedian, Russell Brand - he cracked me up the whole movie. I remember seeing him host the Mtv Video Awards not knowing who the hell he was (He was much funnier in the movie).

Overall it was a great rental, but I won't be going out to buy it.

yeah the British guy was funny.. played the part well.. really well.. was not like acting at all it seemed. What do I know? I'd give it another shot, but I was really kind of bored with it. I was surprised they showed Mila Kunis's tat ta's.. albeit in a photo.. I wondered if it was the real thing.. what a place for me to dwell huh? I'm a guy.. not an excuse.. just the reason. :)

Jiggins: Ya know I was a little surprised at seeing Mila's ta-ta's too, but hey, they weren't bad. Isn't it funny how we as women can do that, comment on other women's bodies and it's no big deal... but it's found a little strange when a guy says "Yeah Jason Segel, that was a pretty nice package." LMAO

I thought Paul Rudd as the surf instructor was really funny.
