Disneyland 2008 Day 2

Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen was awesome. It was really hectic in the lobby - so many families in the same place, checking in and having photos with Pluto and getting seated - but they did have a system down and it flowed amazingly well. They had anything you could imagine for breakfast, it was one of the best buffets I'd ever seen, and coming from the city that has mastered the art of buffet, it says a lot. All kinds of characters came and visited each table: Chip and Dale, Baloo, Goofy, Pluto and Alice. Alice was the only one who really spent a good amount of time at our table, but that's okay, cause it's who Madison wanted to see most.

We spent the rest of the day riding a gazillion rides, this year was much better than last because Madison is tall enough for soooooo many now. However, the Matterhorn is still her favorite, as we rode it 4 times today! I had forgotten how awesome Space Mountain is, we did that twice today too.

Amy - you'll laugh - cause we were riding on the Pirates of the Caribbean and I noticed that restaurant that sits right out on the water, and remembered I'd always wanted to eat there. So we went over there after the ride, and of course, it's Blue Bayou! So we're having lunch there tomorrow.

I'm really glad we did all we got to do yesterday, because it was definitely a busier park today. I can only imagine what tomorrow will be like! There are a few rides at California Adventure that we didn't get to today, so we're heading back there tomorrow. For once, however, we're going to take our time getting out of the room as there's nothing planned until lunch time. There's coffee in the lobby of our hotel, and that's all that really matters until we're ready to head out.
