What's On My iPod

Joss Stone - "Don't Cha Wanna Ride" - I seriously cannot listen to Joss Stone enough, heard this song this morning and was jazzed to find the video posted! Seriously, if you've never given her a listen - check her out.

Bon Jovi - "Lost Highway" - I think this whole album is my favorite by Bon Jovi. This song in particular makes me think of road trips. I love road trips - an open road, no time frame... a destination but totally making it up as you get there.

Smashing Pumpkins - "The End is the Beginning is the End" - I've never seen this video, apparently this song was on the Batman and Robin soundtrack. How did I not know that? Well probably because that movie sucked. I was so disillusioned with the whole Batman scene by this point, thankfully it's been restored... This song is also being featured in a trailer for Watchmen (click to see the trailer). I can't help it, I dig superhero movies.

Trans X - "Living on Video" - I posted this some time ago but it showed up last night in my shuffle and I totally, totally dig this song. Besides, it makes me walk faster... and ya know, as I've been reminded... I'm walking in the dark.

Elvis Costello - "Everyday I Write the Book" - This is from a 1983 performance on Solid Gold. Buahahahaha... Solid Gold! That's back when they always lip-synced on TV. Wow this is 25 effing years ago, I'm going to go sulk in my Metamucil now.

Sheesh, I took a few weeks off and missed quite a bit!

My last project is to download about 50 songs from iTunes. I made a list of songs throughout the summer that I liked but didn't have. Bon Jovi is on that list.
