My Long Lost Screwdriver Came Home

I'd been missing a screwdriver for at least a couple of months - I knew I'd left it in someone's office at some point and figured I'd never see it again. I was bummed because it was my favorite screwdriver, the kind that has the four bits all in one and you just presto-change it depending on what you need. I don't carry a geek bag - that screwdriver is pretty much all I carry on a daily basis. For the other stuff, I will break out the geek bag only when I know I'm gonna need it. For some reason I hadn't replaced the screwdriver, I'd just been hauling around four other screwdrivers. Yesterday I was at a site and a lady that I'd replaced a motherboard for said "I'm so glad you're here... I have your screwdriver and I just never remember to email you about it."

YAY!! It's the little things that make the world go 'round. At least in my world!

Tools that come home, instead of seeing someone else's tool box with your favorite ones in it.

Oh now how cool is that? It's great that she still had it and was honest enough to give it back to you. I'm so with ya, little things rock!

That's nothing. I left a knife in somebody once...

But seriously, that's totally awesome. I love people with either good morals, or deeply defined senses of guilt. Victory for you!

A screwdriver and its owner reunited. Where was the news crew? :)
