Wow... Memorial Day started and ended in what seems like one hour.
We had family over for a barbeque here at Casa De Lora today... the whole place was full of kids and did they ever enjoy themselves (and thus wore the adults out). We all had a great time and I am pretty sure everyone left with a full belly... I sooooo love the grill and will be doing lots and lots of it until it gets cold again. Here's a picture of all the kids we had in the house today:
This was the only time we had them in the same room. There's a range between a few weeks and 16 years here. We even broke out the Wii this afternoon, and I got the first (and probably only) opportunity to kick my Dad's butt at bowling. Once everyone left it was just a matter of keeping Madison awake until bedtime, and I even got my walk in early!
Basically, the extra day off was a success. It's back to work tomorrow... and you know what? I'm ready. I'm ready for whatever gets thrown at me. :)
There's a huge new batch of pictures at flickr.com... I was behind a little so I think I uploaded over 100 today. Enjoy!

LOL - who's the little girl with her arms crossed that obviously did not want to be in this photo!!!
Love your new profile pic. Thanks for the comment on Keven's tattoo...it made me feel better. I love the irony of it too.
Is that Madison looking all grumpy in the photo. I couldn't really tell behind the pissed off look. :)
Sounds like a great day. I am looking forward to kicking my Dad's butt in bowling too.
Oh and I want a shirt like that!
That very grumpy-looking little girl is my niece Breana. We interrupted her fun for the pictures and was going to let us know, LOL.
What a great looking bunch! I can remember when the kids were younger, our house always looked like that. So full of frenetic energy.
Now, they want to eat quick so they can visit their friends.
Sigh.
I love the look of disgust on the little girl who's second from the left. That's one pissed of wee one there. I'm surprised you were able to get them all to sit down long enough for a pic. Family get-togethers rock.
Oh and high-five on beating your dad at bowling.
