What's in My Head

I came home tonight to a very soaked backyard. At first I thought the neighbors had a leak which came through to our yard... but upon further inspection, I realized our gardners had cut drip lines when they cut back some plants last Wednesday. The lawn maintenance company and I are going to have a little chat tomorrow.

Madison thinks McDonald's is directly related to the song about Old MacDonald's farm. We pass a McDonald's on the way home every night and she points out the "farm". I think we need to take a trip to a real farm so she can start to put together the difference.

I'm addicted to a new show, Paranormal State, on A&E. Check out their website here. Quoting from the website, Paranormal State is "a half-hour series chronicling the extraordinary life of Ryan Buell and other members of the Penn State University Club, The Paranormal Research Society (PRS), as they seek to find the truth behind terrifying real life mysteries, hauntings and ghosts." Do I believe this stuff exists? Definitely.

The holidays are over. I have more work on my plate than I can wrap my beady little head around. Blech.

Madison is still sick. I hate listening to her little cough... I just want to take it all away. Times like this is when she's still a toddler - she goes right back to being a poor sick wee one. Otherwise, every single day she's more and more a little girl and less and less a toddler. They grow up so fast. She even gave me a "Fine, whatever!" and stomped off yesterday. I was so surprised I couldn't even react. Again, it was like being in the room with myself. LOL

If I don't get a car wash in the next couple of days I will start to get the heebie jeebies just getting in it.

I'm done with winter. It's time for heat, damnit.

There's always the Gilcrease Orchard. It's kind of like a farm, except for instead of animals, there's soccer moms. For some of them, all you have to do is squint a little...

"Fine, whatever!" -That's hysterical. Secretly enjoy these moments now while she's still young. It's not as cute hearing that from a teenager.

I have watched that show too and liked it in the beginning until it became a little too preachy for me. And then it started to feel a bit staged. But I am fascinated by the paranormal and love shows like "Ghost Hunters" too.

I need to get my car cleaned too, thanks for reminding me.
