What's On My iPod

Blue October - Calling You - This is what good old fashioned sappy alternative is all about. After hearing this song a few times, I went and downloaded their Foiled for the Last Time, a double-disk that includes the full length Foiled album along with new, live and remixed tracks.

Papa Roach - Forever - Now that I made you all warm and fuzzy, I'm going to bring you back down with a song about the pain after lost love.

Fergie - London Bridge - Done with the roller coaster? Just enjoy this...

R.E.M. - At My Most Beautiful - I downloaded this from an iTunes Mix for HIMYM's Season 1 music. I can't tell you off the top of my head which episode it's from, but it's a beautiful song I'd not heard before. Check out the lyrics if you get a chance, if you're wanting to feel warm and fuzzy...

Sara Bareilles - Love Song - This catchy song finally grew on me, and it's got a very well done video.

Hope you're all enjoying another long holiday weekend... I'm off to get some rest and beat this cold. It's been one of those "you're feeling bet...ah no, you're not feeling better" kind of weeks for both Maddy and I, but I have the next five days to get us both healthy.

I really like Sara Bareilles. I'm glad to see her music get even more exposure with the Rhapsody commercials.

Blue October is one of those albums that I know that I'd like if I bought it but have yet to commit myself. I do that with a lot of bands.

Deep dark vocals do a lot for me, so "Forever" has been mentally set aside for future reference. B)
