It Was Just a Mirage

We went to the Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage this afternoon. Madison has been talking a lot about fish, and we've been to the Shark Reef a few times, so I thought we'd check out the dolphins this time. Thank goodness Madison was free - because wow, it sure didn't take long to get all the way through the dolphin exhibit AND the Secret Garden which houses the white tigers (and a few other animals). I'd recommend the tour where you get up close with the dolphins, because we got to watch some doing it and it was pretty cool. Can't imagine how much it might cost, however.

Madison wasn't much for pictures today, so here's one of me at the lion cage:

I should know better than to expect these exhibits to be much. We are, afterall, in Vegas... Do ya see the little orb on my sleeve? Ooooooo, spooky!

Here's a picture of one of the dolphin pools:

I'd love to swim with dolphins. They have something like that somewhere in Orlando.

After working st the Mirage for many years, not much has changed. People use to come all over to see the tigers in the casino, now I guess they moved them outside.

I was thinking that the blur was you censoring something out. Maybe water splatter from the dolphin tank.

One of the perks of being a local is getting the discounts at all the attractions and this is one of the important ones because you are right, it does not take long to go through the entire exhibit. Not quite worth that huge entrance fee but cool nonetheless. I would love to do the swimming with the dolphins things but it is SO expensive!

Oh how much fun is that! Dolphins are so much fun to watch. It sucks that they didn't have very much to see though.
The pic of you is too cute. The orb is creepy. :)
