Weekend Update

Let's just get it out of the way... Yes, my boys finally lost. I honestly didn't give the game my full attention, I had a bad feeling after the first 10 minutes of the game. At least it wasn't 48-0, heh. 5-1 isn't bad, but 6-0 would have been much better.
I finally decided to purchase a new cell phone, and because I do so heart my toys, I'll be spending too much $$ for it. Sprint tells me I'm eligible for discounts, but of course on a Sunday something's wrong with the rebate system so I have to sort it all out tomorrow. While I'm on the subject - I understand the logic in marketing and why cell phone companies put deep discounts on phones to lure customers. But not one of them gives the same discounts to long-term loyal customers who always pay their bills on time. I'm not trying to upgrade before the end of my contract. So WTF?
The family went to a Fall festival at an elementary school yesterday - fun was had by all. What a clever way for fundraising, and the kids really enjoyed the silly games they had. Here's one of my favorite pictures:

Madison and I went to the park in our gated community this morning, she's getting pretty good on her bicycle:

She still has no fear, so we're working on that. As usual, there's new pictures at Flickr. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

I was sort of hoping the Cowboys would hang one on the Patriots, but I honestly didn't think they had enough to get them. Although I do believe Dallas put up a better fight than I expected.

At this point, Dallas is the best team in the NFC. But that's still a far cry from the top teams in the AFC (sorry...).

Hopefully my Colts hang one on them in a few weeks.

Otto: I sincerely hope the Colts DO hang one on them, I'm really tired of this Patriots dynasty!

Cute pics! I can't get Li'l Smooth Operator to ride a bike fast at all. Which I suppose is a good thing.

Iphone! Iphone! Iphone! Yes, you have to change to ATT but you can bring along your old phone number. Then you will always have your tunes, plus that neat web browsing on a screen small enough to cross your eyes.
