Sunday Lazy Sunday

For some reason, I've been craving ice cream all weekend. I've been strong! I just miss it.

Today was an incredibly busy day, there were a lot of plans... but it was just a good, lazy day overall. Does that make sense?

This morning I got to sleep in until 6:45. Don't laugh, that's really sleeping in! The in-laws came over and visited for awhile, playing with Madison until lunchtime. Here's what happened when they left:

Doesn't my little tornado look so sweet when she's sleeping?

Madison and I spent most of the afternoon at Amy and Ken's house, in the pool. Madison loves spending time at their house, and today was no exception. Good times are always had at their place, and it was really good to spend an afternoon with friends. Madison swam so much she passed out as she hit her pillow. This, my dearies, is a rare thing...

In almost one year of marriage I can tell that Ken is completely comfortable as part of Amy's family of friends - he informed me he signed up for NFL Ticket and in nearly the same breath started setting up for some smack talk. Ken is a Buffalo Bills fan. Need I say more? I'm going to be catching a lot more games this season, so I'm all for bringing it. Okay, until Ken starts talking stats, then he'll have me. If he does that, I'll just start counting Superbowl rings!

Playing in the pool takes a lot out of you, especially kids since they never ever want to get out.

Looking at her, wasn't that your clue to hit the couch for a quick one yourself?

Eeew, 6:45am on a Sunday morning! The only way I'm up that early on a Sunday is if I haven't made it to bed by then. ;)

Glad you had a nice, relaxing weekend.

Molie: No kidding, she had us all on our toes!

Ken: See now, you're all sweet and no laying the smackdown. Total class, you are... I guess I'll have to do some provoking during some Sunday games. LOL I am looking forward to catching some football with you guys this season.

joeinvegas: Yeah, that would have been soooo nice, why didn't I?

VP: Yup, it's deceiving!

Nik: I know, I remember many Sunday mornings falling into bed as the sun was rising. I still can't believe I'm up so early every single day. I guess I'd better watch what I wish for, because the days where I can't get her out of bed for school aren't really all that far away...I hope you had a nice relaxing weekend too!

There's supposed to be a very good tasting, low calorie ice cream (that I was told about by someone on Weight Watchers) that I've entirely forgot the name of at this point.

I'm happy that you are getting to see a few more games with good people. B) Too bad he didn't get the SuperFan pack...
