Weekend Update

Is it Sunday night already?

I haven't watched the news for about 3 weeks, so I'm feeling like I don't know what's going on. However, I haven't seen any murders, kidnappings, bombings or anything else depressing for about oh... 3 weeks. Hmmmm. I'm feeling like I need something to rant about.

You already know what I did Saturday. Madison ran little circles around me all day. Insomnia couldn't keep me up last night, I actually got a whole 6.5 hours of continuous sleep!

Today I painted the pantry door in the kitchen and had the in-laws over for awhile. I've still got the door frame to paint, and that'll get done on July 4, cause I'm lazy today. Other than that, I've been hanging out with Madison in her playroom. She's so good at entertaining herself, but sometimes she just wants company. That's easy.

Funny quote of the day: "Mommy, you rock!"

I almost forgot... I'm the boss again for all of next week, and the following Monday!! I'm seriously considering a suggestion Molie made; perhaps I'll send an email notifying all staff that any requests must be done in interpretive dance. Every time I ponder that, I'm cracking up.

It's just about bathtime for my littlest Spongebob fan, and I'm heading out for a walk when she's in bed. If you're still awake after my dull post - please feel free to return to your regularly scheduled programming...

If you ever want to catch up on the news give me a call. I can give you a quick sum up with none of our usual overexaggeration.

I stopped watching the news and reading newspapers a while ago too. Too much ugly for me to pay attention to. I'll read an online article here and there, but not too much.

Good to hear you got some sleep. i don't know how you keep going on a day to day basis. I'd be such a bitch. LOL

Maddy's quote is too awesome. See, even she knows she's got a rockin mom.

You definately have to go with the interpretive dance suggestion, and make sure to record it for us. hahaha
