I'm feeling a little rebellious tonight. I never stay up (on purpose) past about 11 pm unless we're not at home. I'm going to try to be up past my bedtime for a change - there's no work tomorrow, so why not? It wasn't all that long ago I could easily greet the sun after a night out! It's amazing what happens to some of us when we become a parents...
I may need an intervention. I bought Mariah Carey's Greatest Hits CD today. What's up with me? Don't get me wrong. I like some of her music. Her last CD, The Emancipation of Mimi, is pretty good. But the greatest hits has a lot of her lurvvve stuff. You know, before she got all whacked. Now I'm not saying it's bad music, it's just not my usual taste.
We're spending the 4th with the family tomorrow - the whole crew is coming over here for dinner, then we're heading to a local park with a good view of the whole city to watch fireworks. What are you doing? I wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July!

Somebody near Lora, please go over to her house and beat her over the head with the Mariah Carey CD she bought. UGH!! No offense, she has a couple songs I don't mind, but an entire "greatest hits" cd, are you insane?
Hope y'all have fun watching the fireworks. I'm stuck at work tonight, so no fireworks for me. I'm sure I can find a fireworks show on the net though. Happy 4th!
