Weekend Update

It was quite the productive weekend. The house is spotless...with all the kitchen remodel work, vacations, visitors, blah blah - I can't remember the last time I cleaned the whole house in one shot. Cleaning one room here or there doesn't do it for me - it's like leaving unfinished business. I'm a doomed clean freak, if you haven't noticed! I can't tell you how wonderful it is to look around and see nothing glaring at me to be done.

Madison did really good in her new gymnastics class. It took about 20 minutes for her to be okay without one of us with her... the instructors said kids usually scream or cling for at least the entire first class. Madison is much like me - big changes need just a little time to see the advantages, then it's all good. She's also independent to a fault. Wow, I have no idea where she got that from (snicker).

I've still got a little insomnia thing going on. It's not like I'm troubled or stressed; in fact, I'm quite the opposite. I'm smiling most of the time! It's been going on for about, oh... two weeks. Perhaps it's that I'm walking in the evening and my body is needing time to come down? Maybe my body clock is changing? Maybe it's something else?

What did you do this weekend?

Hope you all have a great week!!

I cleaned too. And worked. Fun!

Have you been drinking caffinee after 2 PM. Sometimes if I do that I can't get to sleep before 4 AM. But that is just me.

You want to come over and straighten up our house? Keds and I were just bitching about what a disaster our house is...thank goodness for our housekeeper.

Good to hear ya have a clean house. I'm so with ya, I can't relax until things are done.

Hope Madison enjoys gymnastics class. At her age, what do they teach them? (just curious)

That sucks that you're still having trouble sleeping. Have you tried sleep aids? I was against using them, but I got pissed off/tired enough and tried the Herbalife sleep aid and it works great. Just a suggestion. I wish you many restful nights.
