Pahrump Trip

I had to go to Pahrump today for work... the backup tape drive failed (meaning died) and a printer died. The printer was so dead it was spitting out shredded pieces of plasitic. It was old and out of warranty so I just replaced it. The tape drive? Well that was a little trickier because the server is out of warranty, so I put a bandaid in place until I get a new one. Okay. Enough geek talk.

I really enjoy road trips, but they're pretty boring by myself. So, I took you with me! I know I tracked a trip to Pahrump via photos before, but I tried to get a little creative this time... and there's a few pictures of me this time as well. Heidi Fleiss is opening a laundromat there in the next few days, but no one seemed to know where the hell it was. I was hoping to get a picture of that for you all too - maybe next time.

Click here to browse the pictures. If you see little boxes in areas on photos, hover over them. I've written a note there. I also put them in the photo set in chronological order, so the first photo you see at the link is where I started. I hope you enjoy them!

Tomorrow is Friday!!!!! Have a kick-ass day.

Wow. Quite the adventure! I've never actually made it over the "hump" Keds and I should go there one day. If only we had a spare weekend...

thanks for bringing me along on your road trip! :) that was fun. Gorgeous pictures. I remember when I went on a road trip to vegas with friends. One of those summer storms came out of nowhere, and I guess it was the change from extreme heat to cool water, but the windshield wipers exploaded all of a sudden. lol.. quite an adventure in a downpour... :) I liked your pics though, I think I might do the same thing here the next time we drive somewhere. :) thanks for the idea!

Pahrump. It sounds like something dirty involving Paris Hilton.

I thought Pahrump was some sort of tech-y speak at first. You know along the same lines as a "pebkac error."

What great photos, very scenic. I love the pics of you where you start out very chipper, then there's one in the middle where you have that tired "Am I there yet?" look, then chipper again!

Ken: Honestly? The drive is much better than the destination...

S: I think that would be fantastic in Italy!

Beckeye: LOL, there's not enough shopping for her there.

Molie: Pebkac...LMAO
