Disneyland - Day 2

California Adventure, the sister park to Disneyland, took us all of about 4 hours to be completely done with. When Madison is like five or at least 40" tall, it'll be a blast - but there wasn't much to keep her attention. She really would rather go on the faster and/or scarier rides. We all really enjoyed the Monster's Inc. ride, it's not very scary but they laid it out very well - and it's one of our favorite kid movies. Bug's Land as a whole wasn't too exciting for any of us, but we did enjoy that 3D show, "It's Tough to Be a Bug". I wanted to visit the Tower of Terror attraction today - man that looks scary - but Madison isn't tall enough; the Paradise Pier area is really nice as well, but geared mostly to older kids (the young and young at heart). We had time to get back to Disneyland and hit all the things we really wanted to see but couldn't yesterday. Peter Pan's Flight was one of Maddy's favorites today, but of course we had to visit the Matterhorn again. She loves those roller coasters, but that one was the only one she was tall enough for. I added more pictures to Flickr as well...

We're off to the San Diego area tomorrow to visit Karl's family. We're not going to make it to any attractions down there, but one goal is to get to the beach to see the ocean. Madison has never seen the ocean, so a beach visit is on the itinerary tomorrow before we head home Sunday morning.

I was just checking out the Flickr photos. The one of Maddy passed out in the stroller was too cute. I imagine you will all be feeling that way at the end of the weekend.

I have a photo of Keven passed out in a stroller at Disneyland too! Its one of those "a picture says a thousand words" kind of shots.

So glad you had fun. I love Peter Pan too..."Cone on kids, let's goooooooooo!"

How great that you get to see the ocean. You know what weird, you are driving right past my house!!! I live in Mission Viejo which is off the 5 Fwy. about 30 mins past Anaheim and 60 mins before San Diego. I would have stood on the side of the road with a sign if I knew what time you were passing by (and ended up in jail for doing so!)

Anyhow, hope you enjoyed the ocean!!!! Its fun knowing you are here in my neck of the woods.

Sounds like you're having a great time!

Tower of Terror is my favorite, but I'm a huge Twilight Zone geek.
