I'm Going to Disneyland!!

We're going to Disneyland! Mind you, it's not until June, but I'm so excited I can barely stand it. Appreciating it through a child's eyes is going to be the best. I made the hotel reservations this week - waaaahoooo!

Maddy's staying with her grandparents (Karl's parents) for just about the whole weekend. They wanted to keep her because her cousin is staying over as well. We didn't even ask for the time off - but it's going to be a great break. What the heck will we do with all that time? I already have a to-do list! We're going to visit Home Depot and start the process of remodeling the kitchen, that is for sure. My due date for this was April 1st, I don't think I'm going to make it.

This whole daylight savings time is more a computer problem than Y2K. Seriously. It's been a nightmare at work... you'd think you could just set a server's time for the new settings and it would push down to all the clients. Right? Wrong. It's even worse if you're an Exchange administrator (which coworker S. is) - poor guy. If you're running XP - make sure you get all your critical updates installed. If you're running Windows 2000, you may have a headache in store for you.

Woah, you are doing some renovation too? We need to see before and after photos. B) Sorry about the Y2KDST issues. What's even worse could be if some people program a way around it so it changes it automatically... that is if they decide the change wasn't as effective and go back to the original DST date. Crazy crap. I don't envy ya hon. Sounds like Disneyland couldn't come soon enough.

That's so cool that you're going to Disneyland in June! Your kids will love it.

We're not going until next July. I wish we were going this year...

Congratulations on the weekend off and booking the Disney trip.

This whole DST effort is crazy. In this job, I also need to coordinate with the folks in India, as they do not follow DST just to make sure my meetings don't change!

How cool! I went to Disney World once and I swear, I needed a vacation after the vacation! There's so much to do, you can't possibly do it all. I'm not sure what they have in Disneyland, but I don't think they have the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. If they do though, you need to go on that. It's totally awesome.

Wow, Disneyland! I have been to Disney World but not disneyland and my husband has not been to either one. We perhaps will have to make a trip sometime soon. I must compare.

You are all going to have so much fun!
