It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

It is a tragedy I don't have my camera today - it is the perfect winter day here in Las Vegas. It's also too bad I'm not still snuggled in bed, but hey, I can't have everything. The mountains surrounding the valley are covered in a light layer of snow, the sky is grey and it feels like Christmas. It's cold, but there's no wind - it's dark outside but not gloomy. Only 5 shopping days until Christmas!

Vegas Princess got me browsing NBC.com and YouTube.com checking out SNL skits, and I found this Christmas Classic.

On a totally unrelated note - I saw an old Alfa Romeo on the road this morning. It had a Nevada "Classic Rod" license plate. Now I have nothing against classic European cars, but a classic rod? I don't think so. Perhaps just "classic" or "Euro-Classic"?

Have a day full of warm fuzzies!

That SNL one is one of the classics! Alec Baldwin is funny as @#$@#%!#@$!@$...

... and that's all I gotta say.

I always loved the Christmas song that Horatio Sanz, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Kattan and Tracy Morgan did. It was so delightfully nerdy. They've done a few different versions of it, but nothing ever topped the original. And I can't seem to find that one anywhere.

I remember that song! So funny!!

I for one was not pleased about the white stuff falling last night. I was thrilled to awake at 11 AM and discovered it had all disappeared.

You've had snow in Vegas and yet here in the Northeast it's been unseasonably warm. Ok well we had one snow squall last week that lasted all of fifteen minutes and the next day it was 55 degrees.

That's great. I remember the "Hanukkah Harry" skit too from years ago. That was when SNL was actually good...
