That's it, I'm off my rocker

Before I say anything else - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all you daddies out there!

I think I've lost my mind. Just Friday I was talking with Amy and Teri about our house-buying status. I remember saying I was still stalling as much as possible and wasn't ready unless the right house came along. Let me clarify - the right house at the right price. So this morning Karl took me to see a house he found in a neighborhood just down the street from our own. It's a house that's already half-built, but has all the features we both really want in a house. Everything's been settled except the flooring. I fell.in.love. So much so that I've started the paperwork process online, and we're going back today to possibly secure the lot. I think my blood pressure has risen about 20 points, and I could probably use a stiff shot of Jack...LOL So, I'll let you know how it all works out. If the payment is too much, it won't happen, and we agree on this. No happy dance until we get all the information. BUT, I sure hope this happens! Keep your fingers crossed, please! Doesn't it sound like I've been replaced by an alien Lora? Where are the pods?

I hope you're all having a fabulous weekend!

Ooooo I'm jealous because Brian and I have been looking for our dream house to move into too and the one we wanted I don't think we are going to be able to get...we just won't be able to sell out place fast enough. I keep thinking new houses go up all the time so I should just be patient because something else will come along, but I WANTED THAT ONE!!!

Good luck to you, I hope you get it!

Fingers are crossed for ya. It's not hard to be excited about a new home. Especially, when you have Madison's childhood in mind (kind of like trying to see what growing up in the house will be like for her more than schools and recreation.) Yeah, it's not really Lora... maybe it's Madison's mom. B)

If it doesn't work out, at least you'll have your Jack.

Best of luck, Lora, I hope you get the house.

I have my fingers crossed! But don't say another word about it until the deal is sealed... You might jinx it!

... So, what else have you been up to? I haven't been around for a couple of months... 8)
