This morning Madison and I played with sidewalk chalk on the patio. Notice the chalk all over her leg and hands! I don't think they had sidewalk chalk when I was a kid, so I had as much fun as she did. Karl's mother taught her to not pick flowers and leaves from plants, so here she is giving nice touches to a plant in the backyard. :) I uploaded more to the flickr account, so feel free to click on the link at the right and check them out!

Hope you're having a great day!

Ok, are those purple flowers the lantana or something else. They look a lot like what I have in my back yard but bushier. I have a few small purple lantanas in the front yard that haven't been eaten yet. Very cool photo of her discovering nature. B)

Martin: definitely purple lantana. We have a lot of that in the backyard. If you have it, watch out - that stuff grows like wildfire. My Mom says they use that stuff on northern California freeways because it is so self-sufficient. I can see why, I was forever trimming it before we hired the landscaper. Madison is quite used to nature, my in-laws have almost 1/2 an acre in the backyard alone, she plays in all kinds of nature there every week! Here in our backyard is like playing on an apartment patio compared to that. LOL

Great picture and post. Since I am a few days behind on reading, it is a great day to start a monday morning. Wonder if we could teach everyone about nice touches rather than destructive ones????

Awww, all those pix are again, beyond adorable. Loved the blue hands! Ever think about getting her into modeling? She's too cute. Her giving nice touches to the plants is so cute.
