Customer Service? That's What We Do?

We've provided VPN accounts to administrators so they can work away from work. However, our neither Help Desk nor us techs work after 5:00 or weekends. So how are they supposed to get help when they can't connect from home? I have an administrator that is clearly having trouble connecting from home; I can verify the connection is good and by all accounts should be fine provided she connects properly from home, but she is struggling. Our agency doesn't want to pay us for overtime to be on-call. Honestly, I'd rather be playing with my little girl than making house calls, but I just have to laugh at the way government works sometimes.

We watched Constantine over the weekend. Okay, Keanu Reeves has the emotion of a rock. It was still a great movie. The special effects were great - especially near the end when time stopped as a door shattered. Or was it a window? No matter - the glass was perfectly suspended as time stood still, and the movement and sound of the suspended glass as Satan walked through it was incredible.

I also enjoyed Constantine. Have you read any of the comics? They're outstanding!

Comics? I could have read comics instead of sitting through a movie? I feel so cheated...

I'm not a big fan of his acting but I'm happy to see Constantine wasn't a half-hearted effort. (Very interesting deleted scenes there too which change the whole feel of the movie.)
