I'm just foul

Ever had one of those days you'd like to change your identity?

I'm feeling especially foul today. Just a lot closing in at once. I won't bore you with all the drama. Just not feeling like me today.

I figured I should make an entry, I haven't in like a week. I have absolutely nothing profound to discuss, nothing really good to report, and I haven't won the lottery.

I have a friend in town from Boston who has a baby girl two weeks younger than Madison, and I'm going to visit her tomorrow. Hope my mood has changed drastically by then! BUT, seeing her should help that along. :) I've had this friend since I was 11 years old. It's so nice to still have friends who knew me way back when... I can actually better this. I still keep in touch with a girlfriend from the first grade. I remember, I was the new girl in school - we became instant friends because her name was Lora spelled just like mine. I hadn't seen her in twenty years and she came to my wedding. Now that was special. How many of you still have friends from your childhood - say, before high school?

That's a really tough question. I don't think that I have many that knew me that far back. I think a lot of that had to do with spending most of my free time at Dad's work playing tennis. So if I have some, they'd be tennis players. Hope you are feeling better about yourself now, hon. If not, you can always try to repeat the Calgon commercial except with a beer in hand, bigger bathtub and your Expose 'best of' playing loud. B)

Don't worry about boring us with the details hon. Remember, this blog is your outlet to purge the bad and reap the good. And some of us worry about ya. B)

I had one really good friend like that. We became best friends in 7th grade. She was my best friend who passed away a few years ago. I really miss her and I have been thinking a lot about her lately.

I also have days like that as well, especially when my students have said my name for the 5,000 time that day.

I've known my three closest friends since elementary school. I guess that's one positive thing about living in Las Vegas forever and a day. It really blows people's minds when I state in my personal references that I've known each one of them for over 20+ years!
