What's In My Head

Jiggins inspired me to spew a few things from my brain tonight...

I'm currently reading Nicholas Sparks' The Lucky One. I picked it up because he wrote "The Notebook", which is one of my all-time favorite movies (although I did not read the novel). It took me 100 pages before I actually got hooked; there's so much character development that I was wondering when the story started. However, now that I'm on page 200, I'm totally sucked in. I have 5 more books waiting for me to caress the pages...

Over the weekend I saw The Proposal with my friend Julie. That was such a great movie! I think Sandra Bullock has great comedy talent... and she with Ryan Reynolds makes for some fantastic entertainment. Oh, and Betty White! She steals so many scenes, that lady is a riot! Oscar Nunez, who you might know as Oscar Martinez from The Office, has a hilarious character in the film. If you haven't seen the movie yet, I won't say anymore... wouldn't want to spoil it. :)

Madison started swimming lessons over the weekend - and she took to being in the pool with the teacher very quickly. She did awesome, and can't wait for her next lesson. Learning to swim is fun for her... but to me, it's a set of life skills!

Work is absolutely insane right now!! I can't imagine what it would be like to have nothing to do. This is a good thing, it means I'm still employed, ya know? But it would be nice to breathe once in awhile.

My bike rides are starting to get easier... Yay! I've almost mastered a hill that was kicking my ass for months. I'm gonna be looking to expand my ride pretty soon. I've been riding about 5-6 miles in just about 30 minutes, so I'll easily be able to ride more as this trek gets easy.

I really want to see The Proposal. I love both Sandra and Ryan and think their chemistry and comic talents are perfect for each other.

The Proposal isn't the kind of flick i would go see in a theater.. or at all.. not to say that i don't like mushy flicks or even girly comedies.. just seems boring.. then again i saw BRUNO.. (wasn't my week to pick) .. tho Betty White usually is pretty funny.

Cool on the swimming. I love teh water.. but i do not like pools.. long story.. hahah.
