What's In My Head

Today we went to Long John Silvers for lunch... and while we were eating, I whipped out one of their paper pirate hats, and promptly put it on. The looks on the faces of the guys at the table with me, and the table full of people next to me? Priceless.

Madison has started storytelling in a way no adult could possibly wrap their heads around. The creativity of a child is one of the most amazing things.

I have no idea where this day went? Once I got back to the office before lunch, it was suddenly 4:30. I love days like that, cause it means it was probably time well spent.

I got tagged for a 200 Things meme last week (Nik... Holla!) and I've been working on it for days, LOL. I really want to finish and post it - but I tend to I overthink these things. I am still working on it!

I follow some celebrities on Twitter and some of them have way too much time on their hands. I am gonna have to turn off my device updates so they'll stop flooding my phone... it's crowding up the tweets I really want to read!

How was your day, Internet?

I LOVE Long John Silvers. They have the best fries and I could eat about 500 hush puppies. Alas, there are none around NYC. Whenever I visit my family in Pittsburgh I always try to hit up a Long John's. Of course, it's 2nd on my list to Chick-fil-A.

Damn I woulda loved to see you rock the LJS pirate hat. Our LJS doesn't even have those anymore, sad really. I'm gonna petition to bring those back. Wee people stories are the BEST! They've always got a captive audience in me. I bailed out on the celeb tweeters awhile ago. It's cool and all, but I came to the realization that I really didn't care what they were doing. As for the 200 things, thing, I still laugh that it's not even anywhere near 200 things, but yeah, uhhh get on it! lol

200 things? You really have the time to do that? wow

Doing well, our boss is taking a few days off so it's quiet here.

Where's the pic of you in the pirate hat?

I know what you mean about children's creativity - they lack the self consciousness we do as adults and let their thoughts flow and the most fascinating things come out!

I am having the same problem with my tweets. Some celebrities are really desperate to share EVERYTHING! And you know what, I really don't care... :)
