I highly suggest you go outside for five minutes and gaze at the moon tonight, because it's absolutely beautiful. While you're taking it in... think about someone you love, reflect on your day, or just smile. You'll thank me later.

The 11th we were outside watching fireworks for the opening of Aliante Station and there was this kick ass halo around the moon. THAT was amazing. Tonight is not too bad either. Thanks for the suggestion. I only made one change, and that is that I went out and looked at it WITH someone I love.

It was absolutely beautiful last night! I was sitting in the hot tub with my boyfriend and looked up and it was breath taking...didn't think nights like that existed in Vegas ;)
I did that, even though I didn't read you telling me to do that until just now. And I thought about Neko Case singing "I Wish I Was The Moon", and it was Poignant and Meaningful, and then I think I drank a beer. Which was less meaningful, and also kind of gross, because it was a leftover Bud Light from when Kerplunk came over, and Bud Light is horrible.
Last night hubby and I took a moonlit walk and it was glorious.
Driving out to see new Aliante last night, it was huge and orange and really impressive. I still say the moon is bigger here in Vegas than anywhere.
