What's on my iPod

Sugar - Helpless - Another recent rediscovery on Sirius. I've been glued to their 90's Alternative/Grunge station (Channel 24 if you have Sirius). I was always drawn to this song, but I've never given Sugar, as a whole, much of a listen.

The Weepies - Gotta Have You - If you listened to the last rather heartbroken song, this one will get you all misty-eyed. It's another song featured on HIMYM, it was from Season 2's "First Time in New York" episode, where Robin's sister comes to visit. This is a fan video...

Parliament - Give Up the Funk - Also from HIMYM, Season 2, the "Where Were We" episode, where Marshall is having some trouble getting over Lily after she's left. This video screams of Studio 54 and a whole lotta red or blue pills... heh

Jeff Buckley - Last Goodbye - I heard this on the 90's alternative station just today, and I couldn't believe I'd never heard it before. Promptly added it to the iPod tonight. Guess this was released back in 1994?

Asia - Heat of the Moment - I was talking about this band with someone just the other day. Asia had a lot of great songs, and this is one of my favorites. Definitely an 80's video, it's pretty dull - meaning no real storyline, and the band is almost uncomfortable. Oh, and flames! Lots of flames!

I really like Jeff Buckley. And this is one of my favorite songs by him. So sad that he dies so young. Seems like all the talented ones do. Tragic.

Husker Du were amazing and to see the change in direction Mould made with Sugar was impressive. Great song.

Gotta love P-Funk.

Huge fan of Asia's first two albums. Great pick.
