"Are You Sure?"

Madison has a new catchphrase: "Are you sure?" Also, since there aren't any siblings, she's taken to blaming Dallas (the cat) for everything.

Let me give you an example of both.

"Madison, did you draw with black crayon all over the dining room chair?"

"Dallas did, Mommy. It was Dallas." (Okay now imagine it, cause it's funny.)

"Nooooo... I'm thinking you did it, and I can see black crayon in your fingernails."

"Are you sure, Mommy?"

Well, I gotta give her credit for thinking on her feet. She may have a future deposing witnesses.

"Well then you can help Dallas clean it up honey!"

That is hysterical. She's one smart cookie.

I so needed a laugh right now, so thanks Lora for sharing the story and thanks Madison for being such a smart little girl.

How can you be so sure it wasn't Dallas?

How did you keep a straight face during this convo?

How come I get visions of Calvin and Hobbes when you tell these stories.

She's trying. Next time she asks where the crayons are, tell her you had to hide them from Dallas.

Hahahaha oh what a cute (smart) little stinker she is. That is one to write down to remember and give her grief as she gets older... Madison did you dent the car or was it the cat?

I love it! What a little manipulator she is!
