All I Got Was a Rock

Tonight Madison and I watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", and it was her first time seeing it. When I was a kid, I looked forward to this special every year, so it was very cool to share it with Maddy. One of my favorite parts is at the Halloween party when Schroeder is at the piano playing a rather sad song, and Snoopy, in his World War I Flying Ace costume, dances and does all the dramatics. Schroeder was definitely my favorite Peanuts character - perhaps it was the piano playing - cause let's face it, the music in every Peanuts special rocks. Schroeder is so quiet and reserved, and they're the ones you gotta watch out for...

Who is your favorite Peanuts character, and why?

I am particularly fond of Linus... Next time we are together, watch my hands. LOL

I'm with Keds on this one. I don't know if it's some of his great speeches, belief in odd deities or attachment to personal belongings (his blankie.)

Pigpen! I always liked the concept of moving around in a cloud of dust.

Snoopy's my fav. That dog can dance, he's got a great imagination and that freaky doghouse must be bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside.

I have to admit, my fave is Charlie because he never gives up hope even though he has a pesimistic attitude.

I heart "Peanuts" alot. I have all the specials on DVD. I'm still trying to find the "Peanuts" Christmas cd.
I've always been fond of Snoopy and Woodstock, more Snoopy though. I just love his facial expressions and his imagination is tha bomb. He's just funny. And poor Woodstock, it seems like he can't catch a break. Besides, he can fly upside-down.

I like Schroeder too, but my fave was always Snoopy. He's just so adorable.
