What's In My Head

It's time for another episode of what's in my head:

  • Along one long street during my walk, I now have to walk in the street to avoid black widow webs. Those little devils are spinning webs across the damn sidewalk. Obviously this street doesn't get a lot of traffic. A couple of them are damn big. I get goosebumps when I walk by!
  • I'm driving to Pahrump tomorrow with a car full of equipment. It's going to be a boring drive. I'll be going back again in a couple of weeks...
  • I may have overbooked myself tomorrow, I have a lot more to accomplish in the afternoon when I return from Pahrump. I am usually quite good at time management, so I'll probably make it all work out... but I'm tired just thinking about it.
  • Hot damn, another pair of pre-pregnancy jeans fit. But my work pants the next size down still aren't quite there. I can get them completely on now, but they're still too snug.
  • I need to buy ballet shoes for Madison tomorrow.
  • I need to cut back on my caffeine. I realized today after mothering someone else about it that I should follow my own advice.
  • Summer TV sucks, but I'm honestly not caring about Fall TV. I'll probably be watching very little of it.
  • I still need to buy curtains for the kitchen window. I'm beginning to get irritated by my own unfinished project. We need to make a decision on another color for an adjacent wall before I can. Time to get this done.
  • There's really not a lot of interesting stuff in my head tonight...

Hope you're having a fabulous day!

Cut back on caffeine? But a Starbuck's caramel latte just isn't the same in decaf.

I've started timing my caffeine better. Having it when I wake up does help the metabolism and a little around lunch/dinner (9pm) helps me stay focused until I'm done with work... allowing me to crash really easy.

Oddly enough, I finish off a Rockstar double before or during the podcast to keep me awake.

I'm not afraid of spiders, but the ones you're talking about sound creepy.

Congrats on fitting into those jeans. Keep up the great work.

I agree totally with you about summer tv. I can't remember the last time I actually sat down and watched anything that wasn't sports related. Well, I do watch Army Wives on Sunday night, it's not the greatest, but it's different.

Good luck with your caffeine detox, although I'm not entirely sure why anybody would give the stuff up.

I started carrying a can of Raid on my walks because of the spider problem. To me, one less black widow spider, the better.

I need to do that caffeine thing too!
