I'm at about page 300 of the last Harry Potter book, and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I usually blaze through any book I read and I'm not able to do that anymore with my very busy life... but learning to slow down and enjoy each page and taking more than 2 days to get through 700+ pages isn't such a bad thing.
Work has been pretty busy, but it's all good. There's a lot of new network infrastructure equipment getting deployed over the next couple of months (that's file servers, basically), and I may see a few Saturdays at work in my future. I'm pretty relieved for all this new equipment, as what we've got is out of warranty and the powers that be never think to keep spare parts on hand for such occasions. We've got 9 new file servers to put out there, and 4 of them are mine, all mine!
Keeping it short tonight, I am working on a new playlist and it's talking to me right now, I'm so close to finishing... Aren't I such a music geek?

Unless I did nothing else all day I would never get through 700 pages in two days of any book. Even then I would probably miss a lot of important details.

I've yet to read any of the Harry Potter books, but I've heard they're pretty good. I've seen part of one of the movies and it looks pretty decent. Hope you enjoy the rest of it.
Here you go with your tech talk again, whatever it is that you're doing/going to be doing, have fun with it. I wish I knew more about computers and stuff.

Reading the last book in the Harry Potter series is like graduating from High School and not knowing what to do with your life...
Sooooo, have you finished the book ?? What did you think ? I thought it was fabulous, although was disappointed with the very ending, thought it was lame (the bit after the end, I mean).
I am now back reading the books from the beginning, and am up to book 3 ... The Prisoner of Azkaban. I love them, they are so addictive.
