8 Things About Me

I got this from one of my blogger friends, Barbara.

You're supposed to list 8 random facts/habits about yourself and tag 8 others to do the same thing. I'm not going to tag anyone because I know a lot of my regular visitors don't appreciate it. But please feel free to do this - and let me know if you do!

My 8 things:

1. I needed a tutor to finish 9th grade algebra, but aced college algebra without a problem.

2. I am a pretty good cook, but I really don’t like to cook.

3. I have a bad habit of picking at my nails.

4. I’ve had the following hair colors: red, blue, pink, purple, blonde, and my natural brown (my hair is very happy I don’t dye it anymore). Actually, I haven't dyed my hair since around the age of 20.

5. I am fascinated by old west history. One of my fondest childhood memories was visiting Tombstone, AZ.

6. I love strolling through old graveyards and reading all the tombstones. My great grandfather lived near an old graveyard outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. An uncle took me there when I was about 11, and I remember seeing grave markers from the late 1700s. I pondered each life (so many were children) as I read each stone. That's where I think it all started.

7. I want to travel Route 66 from beginning to end someday. I’ve taken small portions of it here and there, but I’d love to see it all. Honestly I’m not sure you can even do that anymore?

8. I am very sensitive but I’m told I don’t show it often.

I don't think you can do Route 66 in its entirety anymore unfortunately. That is one pieve of history I would love to explore.

I will be reposting this on my blog at some point this week. It's very cool ,just gotta come up with 8 "interesting" things about me. I don't think I have that many.

Looking at your responses, you're quite an interesting person. travelling Route 66 would be amazing. If ya ever do it, be sure to take tons of pix.
