MISHEARD LYRICS - Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter

I immediately thought of Beckeye when I stumbled across this... but anyone will certainly appreciate the humor. You know how Eddie Vedder is sometimes impossible to understand? This video attempts to... ahem, help.

As much as I love that song, I have to say that is hilarious.

Double what Matt said... that was freakin' funny. I'm not a huge PJ fan (Ten was great but I slowly lost interest) yet "Yellow Ledbetter" is one of my favorite songs of theirs. It could be because I work with a guy who's last name is Ledbetter... dunno. It does remind me that there is an art to indistinguishable lyrics in songs... Dylan, Petty, Springsteen... it's like a disease (or art form.)

That is pretty funny, but I think the key to recognizing all the lyrics is doing all the drugs that he did. Sad thing is that I think I do recognize all or at least most of those lyrics, and while I like PJ it's not as though I listen to them regularly. I'd really like to see more vids from this guy, guess I'll have to go do some lookin' on YouTube.

Ha ha...I saw this posted on the Best Week Ever blog yesterday and watched it. I laughed my ass off! That is one of the great PJ songs though. It's amazing that it's such a huge fan favorite, yet I don't think anyone really knows ALL the words. I know some, but anyone who says they know all of them is kidding themself. I don't even think Eddie knows. :)

OMG-- I about fell outta my chair laughing at this. I was crying. What makes it even better is after a while, I was actually hearing what was typed instead of the actual lyrics (or whatever ya wanna call them).

Funny stuff. I've always loved that song. When I saw Pearl Jam years ago, they closed their show with Yellow Ledbetter and the place erupted.

When I got home I decided to pull up the lyrics on the Internet....total gibberish.

But still, love the song.
