What's In My Head

The mind is no longer blank! So I share with you what's in there today:

• I'm supposed to be in training this week, but it got cancelled. Training for what you ask? Penetration testing. Go ahead. Say it aloud and keep a straight face, I dare you. I was looking forward to this security class - at least it will be rescheduled, I just don't know when.
• Some changes are coming at my state agency. The new governor has a new vision about IT and state government. I'm not real great at accepting change at first; I need a little time to swallow it, and work out how it affects me in my head. Of course, it is all about me. LOL Sometimes change can be good, even in government - so I'll just hope it turns out that way.
• My brother-in-law, Keith, is leaving Las Vegas yet again. I've lost count which time this is. He always comes back... I'm not sure why he doesn't just stay. It would save us all time and him some serious money. Maddy will really miss him. Again.
• I bought a new camera today!! I can't wait to go home and play with it. I haven't posted a picture of the finished playroom because the camera was not taking good pictures. They were all turning out like you're looking through an acid trip. Let's not discuss how I know that....
• Dad's coming over for dinner the second time this week. I'm going to get really spoiled by that, we haven't had family dinners at the dinner table together since - Wow. Since I lived at home.
• I just at the most fabulous salad from Jason's Deli. If you live here in Vegas, check it out. There are several locations. The salad bar is one of the best in town.
• I haven't been visiting some of my favorite blogs as much the last couple of weeks. I need to work on that. If I haven't left any comments lately, I am sorry!
