Weekend Update

I'm off tomorrow, and we're going to make our first attempt at going to the movies. I'm taking Madison to see "Happy Feet" with her aunt and cousins. I really don't anticipate seeing most of the movie, because my daughter has the shortest attention span (I have no idea where she got it? hehe). Should be... interesting.

The "Why?" question is now a part of almost every conversation with Madison. Doesn't that sound like fun? Come on, you know you're jealous.

Madison became fully engrossed in a bowling tournament on TV this morning. Karl was flipping channels and stopped to watch. Thirty minutes later, they're discussing each frame and how many pins fell down. I wish I'd gotten it on video.

Karl's out buying a cat door for our coat closet, as we speak. I'm so excited! I'm that much closer to my carpets being cleaned and the removal of all these damn toys from my living room!

Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend!

My nieces didn't like Happy Feet and they usually like everything. But hopefully you guys will enjoy it.

We solved the "why" questions with "why do you think...." Make her think about her questions she asks. It worked for us.
