Weekend Update - Late, Late Edition

It's been a seriously busy few days. Where to begin??

The weekend was quite eventful! Teri and Lloyd had a beautiful baby boy on Saturday. Where are the pictures, you ask? Martin took care of that, so be sure to stop by and check out his post from Sunday, October 22. That little guy is just as cute as can be! When I stopped by to see them all, I think it was the least "stressed" I'd seen Teri in a very long time. Was it pain medication, or that the pregnancy is over? Both? :)

On Sunday Amy and Ken finally walked down the aisle! It was a long day but all that work and planning by everyone involved paid off the jackpot - it was a beautiful, sweet ceremony followed by one hell of a party. Teri was very missed, but a good friend of Amy was kind enough to hold a cell phone so Teri could tune in remotely. Hope you were able to hear it well Teri! I've only been a bridesmaid one other time in my life, and it was nowhere near as big a wedding as this. I was so honored to be a part of the big day... and it was so nice to see so many of the faces I've met over the years as Amy's friend. Amy has surrounded herself with so many wonderful people throughout her life; Karl and I had a fantastic time. I also got to meet a lot of great new faces - some of the other bridesmaids, as well as Ken's family (Ken your sister is so sweet and funny!). Last but not least, a blogger friend, Vegas Princess made it to the wedding, and it was fantastic to meet her! VP wrote a fabulous post about the wedding, so I'll let you read the wedding details here.

Madison had a weekend full of fun since we were so busy with the wedding - she spent all of Saturday with my Dad and that side of the family, and all of Sunday with Karl's family. Uncle Keith (Karl's brother) also spent a lot of time here at the house, and Madison adores him. Keith has moved back to Las Vegas for like the four billionth time in the last 6 years, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad. He and Madison have a really good relationship.

Madison startled me today in the car when trying to talk about a bridge we were driving over - the word "bridge" sounds much more like "bi$#@". Can you imagine the look on my face?

I'm in another computer forensics class this week - I was hoping it was going to be a bit more about security but forensics is something I seriously enjoy, so it's all good. I'm not in the office, so there's a BIG bonus!

Halloween is coming up - what are you all doing to celebrate?? I am soooooo behind in my blog reading. I'm working on catching up!

I think it would have shocked me also if I'd heard her say "that bridge" and left out the R. hahaha I wish I could get over to see Teri and Jacob a bit more and I bet she was overjoyed to be able to listen to it. B) Very very cool. B) Ohhh, does that mean that class mean that you'll be able to hunt down porn on friends' computers when you stop by?

Congrats to Teri and Lloyd on the addition to their family. Getting any sleep? lol

Huge congrats to Amy and Ken and I wish them all the best that life has to offer in their new life together.

Awesome that Madison gets to hang out with her uncle more often now and I hope he stays this time.

Best of luck and hope you're having fun in your computer class. Sounds like it'd be a pretty cool class. Hope you had a great week and enjoy your weekend.
