What's In My Head

YAWN! It's been a seriously busy weekend, and I'm worn out. In lieu of trying to make sense in a meaty, heartfelt post - I once again give you What's In My Head.

1. Seamstress! Yes, I'll call and make an appointment for Teri and myself next Saturday. I'm just so glad the bridesmaid dress isn't as scary on me as I thought it would be.

2. I need to find a Halloween costume for Madison. This is the first year she's actually going out... I had no idea how difficult this task would be. Some costumes are just not appropriate for kids (even though they're marketed for them) - some not appropriate for a cool October evening.

3. I'm too tired to go grocery shopping, but we're going anyway. We do have to eat, don't we?

4. Insomnia is really starting to interfere with my life. I've always suffered from it, but hadn't experienced it on a regular basis for at least 7 years. It's creeped back in, and obviously I'm stressed out... time to examine what I need to change.

5. How do three people create so much laundry?

6. I love, love, love my large capacity washing machine. I'm washing my king size comforter right now (speaking of laundry) - that is a wonderful luxury.

7. I painted my toenails pink today. One of the simplest things I never make time for, and it felt so good to make them pretty!

8. Nik noted on her blog that some comments she made on a few blogs were mysteriously removed. This reminds me to note to any of you using the Blogger Beta - I can't leave comments on your blog! Perhaps someday I'll get over this whole free service thing and pay for this stuff.

9. The Cowboys play tonight and I hope to catch some of the game... I might need to leave another TV on in the house with the game on so I can check in. Right now we're watching "The Wild" vs. a game - some of the sacrifices we make in the name of child-rearing. :)

10. I wonder what exciting things you all did this weekend?

Remember when we used to get excited about a new Madonna album? Now you are giddy over a washer. We have certainly changed.

Blogger Beta is just plain bleh. It doesn't work for anyone to comment on at all unless you get a Beta Account (which is totally different than a regular Blogger account).

You painted your toenails? Pictures? :D

VP: Laundry sucks.

Amy: Bridal showers are supposed to be lovely, I'm glad it was a great day for you!

Cyndi: We have, haven't we... I do remember the good ol' days of drama and Madonna. LOL

jj: Come on, don't you have some big event to be planning or something? ;)

Jas: I thought of you as I posted about my pretty pink toenails. LOL

Great stroke of luck on the bridesmaid dress. I'm so glad most of my people are married, I HATE bridesmaid dresses.
Good luck w/ the Halloween costume for Madison. They don't have much out there, at least not much that's not massively expensive. I was just talking to my friend the other day about how they should bring back those plastic suit/mask things that we had when we were little(only make them for big ppl like us too, just so we can have fun like we did back then). I don't know if they have them, but I think Madison would make a cute Dory (from Finding Nemo).
Hopefully, you're able to cure your insomnia. I hate those nights, espcially when ya can't figure out why ya can't sleep. Sending you some sleep vibes/wishes.

Wow you do have a lot on your mind.. no wonder you can't sleep. Thanks for the appointment, one more thing to cross off my list. What does Madison want to be this year?
