Supernova Originals, Plus

Rockstar: Supernova: Storm's original song was pretty darn good, but I could only focus on the classic style of red Doc Martens she was wearing... I loved, loved, loved them. :) She's on a roll, cause she appears to be hitting it out of the park lately. She had the best original song tonight. Toby's was pretty damn good too, it made up for his performance of The Killers' "Mr Brightside", which I saw as a little forced, a little out of tune.

Has anyone else seen Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby yet? I have not always been amused with Will Farrell's movies, but this one had some pretty funny moments. We saw it over the weekend - there was a small window and it was the only movie that fit our time frame. If I'd had a choice, it would have been a rental; it was nice, however to get out and see a movie (the last we'd seen was December 2005).

We had a great long weekend of fun and family; today was back to work. I'm in hell there right now, having taken on a whole new slew of challenges (read that as cleanup work). I'll get to a positive point and see it as something of a new experience, but right now the outlook is bleak and frustrating. Hope you all had a great start to the new (but short!) week.

Time to go vote for the future of Supernova. Lora, Out! (hehe)

I find that most women that saw the original performances on RS: Supernova liked Storm's song the best. I actually found Magni's the most memorable followed by Toby's. Wasn't too shocked with who was sent packing though. I have some issues with the show that I'll have to post before next week hahaha.

I don't know why but I've avoided most of Ferrell's films. I know that I'd probably enjoy Elf and Old School but haven't found the passion to make it happen. At least I'm not avoiding him on purpose.

Hope work gets better. Well, then again... life will get better when football season starts. B) (go cowboys!)

I haven't seen it yet, and planned on Netfixing it. I think I will. I like Will Ferrel in his SNL skits, but hate a couple of his movies. He doesn't carry a movie well, but he's absolutely brilliant in supporting roles.

Just remember, that which does not kill you makes you stronger. Why does it seem that you always get the shit end of the stick where you work?
Glad you had a great holiday weekend, haven't gotten around to checking out your pix, but I will soon.
Haven't seen that movie, and don't know that I ever will. I usually like his movies, but this one just doesn't seem like it's too entertaining. Maybe if I liked Nascar, it'd be different. Anyways, here's wishing you better days at work and a happy, relaxing weekend.

I don't like Storm. I still like Dilana. I don't care about what goes on behind the scenes, the girl can sing. I can't stand Lukas either. I can't believe they like him. He sounds like someone is grabbing him by the throat when he sings. Toby and Magni are both ok. But I hated Toby's original song.

I've tried but I haven't been able to get into RockStar: Supernova the way I was able to get into RockStar: INXS.

I haven't been watching Supernova, but heard there was an Aussie guy in it ... from all reports he's pretty good.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Take care, Meow
